Slightly off the beaten path of San Francisco’s Mission District is Bar Bambino, a neighborhood eatery that brings simple, elegant food and wine to the table while bringing friends, family and friends-to-be together to enjoy. Inspired by years spent living and traveling around Europe, owner Christopher Losa wanted to create a space that brings the neighborhood gathering places of Italy to the New World.
Bringing to life the idea that life is better around the table, Bar Bambino offers seasonally-inspired Italian classics served in an unpretentious, urban atmosphere. It is the rustic cuisine paired with a modern vibe that sets Bar Bambino apart. Opened in April 2007 in the Mission District of San Francisco, Bar Bambino has garnered local and national accoldades, being named as a San Francisco Chronicle Top 100 restaurants and as one of Bon Appetit Magazine’s Top 10 Wine Bars in the nation.
